Usually ships in 1-2 business days

Turn your chainsaw into a sawmill with the Logosol Timberjig. This simple attachment allows you to mill lumber from raw logs right where they lay. The Timberjig quickly bolts to almost all chainsaws with standard (non-full wrap) handlebars. We recommend using chainsaws no smaller than 70cc for milling, and a ripping chain is recommended if you require a smooth lumber surface. The Timberjig process is simple. You use use a wooden guide to make your first cut, then make two more 90 degree cuts. You are now left with a 3 sided log that you can cut into a beam, or choose to cut into planks. It's that simple. The accuracy usually lies within plus or minus a couple of millimeters at the start, but practice makes perfect. The more you saw the better the precision will be. The Timberjig is suitable for logs up to 20", but in practice there is no upper limit to how big logs you can saw. You will need to provide a couple of 1"x6" planed boards approximately two feet longer than the length of the logs you wish to mill. We recommend using a battery powered drill for assembly and a peavy to help turn the logs. Instructions included.Note: Will not attach to Stihl 088, MS 880 without a pair of M10 extender nuts. Weight 10 lbs (4.5kg) Maximum Depth Cut 8" (20cm) Maximum Width Cut 24" (75cm) Maximum Bar Length 24" (75cm)
